A sumptuous dinner party winner that makes the most of Autumn's tasty apples. A timeless favourite, transformed into a delicious and easy dish that you will want to make time and time again.
Preheat the oven to 150°C/300°F/Gas Mark 2 and core each apple. Cut a slit around the circumference of the apples – being careful not to cut all the way through.
In a small bowl, mix the raisins, walnuts, Tate & Lyle Dark Soft Brown Sugar and butter. Place the apples in an ovenproof dish and stuff the centre of each with the mixture.
Cook for 30 minutes, then serve.
TOP TIP
Want a vegan alternative? Replace the butter with coconut oil for a creamier and vegan-friendly version of this recipe. Cut out eyes and a scary mouth for a Halloween touch to your apples!
